This piece is likely by Loetz, as it has several characteristics inherent to the famed glass manufacturer. The pontil is polished, and large, typical of Loetz; the acid "Czechoslovokia" signature is separated as was one of the typical signatures of Loetz; and lastly, the quality is outstanding, and in keeping with that quality of Loetz. We do not guarantee Loetz is the manufacturer, but strongly suggest it. Classic Urn shape in this pale blue blown glass Vase from Czechoslovakia; acid signed on the base, pictured. Ground rim, polished pontil. 5.25" (13.33 cm) tall, 3.375" (8.57 cm) rim diameter, 2.25" (5.71 cm) base diameter. Excellent condition. c. 1900-1920. $14 US Shipping. |
