Breathtakingly beautiful PORCELAIN JARDINIERE with lavish raised gilt decoration, on brass mount with four elaborate, shell and leaf feet. Handles of the jardiniere are clusters of grapes with grape leaves. The base is marked in green underglaze, with one of Portugal's foremost porcelain manufacturers, "Reald'arte," Signed by hand, in gilt, "Designed by Rosa Maria Plancarte, Painted by Jane D. Griffith 2001." About 18-1/2" x 11-1/2" x 6" tall. Immaculate condition with perhaps the most insignificant gilt loss. $45 US Shipping. |
