RARE WEDGWOOD CLASSICAL PEDESTAL SERVING BOWL IN THE POMPEII PATTERN, retailed by Ovingtons, c. 1870s. Brown transfer on cream background. The bowl has 2 handles, is 10.25" in diameter and 5.5” tall. It is a classical style with cartouches containing children or cherubs holding spears,or riding a lion or dog. Markings include an impressed WEDGWOD, plus the letters HGL and the letter “L”.
