HEMIXEM ART NOUVEAU WISTERIA BLOSSOMS TILE. The Wisteria blossoms with their shades of mauve and purple are among the most beautiful of the spring flowers. In this example, the purple blossoms gently curve against the stark white background, anchored by the gray brow vines. Hemixem, a Belgian company, was one of the foremost tile makers in Europe at the end of the 19th Century. The tile is 6" square and in excellent condition.
