VERY TALL JAPANESE CHRYSANTHEMUM BRONZE CANDLESTICKS, MEIJI ERA
These Japanese Solid Bronze/brass Candlesticks are very unusual for two reasons. It is rare to see double Chrysanthemum bowls on the same candlestick. There is a traditional chrysanthemum form for the base, as well as the top bowl to hold the candle. The top bowl is 3.5” in diameter and 1.5” in depth. The Chrysanthemum form base is 7” in diameter.
