| Taxco Mexico Rosewood Sterling Silver Bracelet, c. 1940s-1960s. Bracelet of Eight Links of silver inlaid with rosewood, with a silver backing. Superb craftsmanship, with silver swirls inlaid in rosewood, with an incised intaglio of black oxidation. Marked Hecho en Mexico,940. Los Castillo had designed a very similar bracelet. There is no maker's mark on this bracelet. It is quite unique with the inlay of rosewood in a circular, C-shaped swirl design circumvented with an incised intaglio of black oxidation! 8 – ¾ inch convex medallions joined by links. It has nice weight (1 ½ oz. on the postage scales) and measures 6 5/8 inches when closed. | ||
