| This exquisite French green porcelain box with a finely painted scene of a genteel society seated at a table with an officer dressed in full regalia sanding nearby. The scene is surrounded by a gilt border with a raised gilt border of foliage with Napoleon’s monogram, which is also on the front panel with stylized birds on either side of the monogram. The interior lid and base is painted with a floral motif. It is signed with a symbol on the base. Age: Late 19th Century - Size: 3 ¼” high x 5 ¾” wide x 3 ½” deep (15.97 x 14.58 x 15.83 cm) | ||
