| An ancient Egyptian group of eight sheet gold fragments. Probably from a piece of furniture. The top group depicts a cobra (1 1/8 inches high), a Ba Bird (1 1/4 inches high), a Horus (1 1/4 inches high) and a winged falcon (1 1/4 inches high). The bottom group depicts an Isis/Hathor holding a sceptre (1 7/8 inches high), a Neith (1 1/2 inches high), an Isis (1 1/4 inches high) and an Aegis with a falcon in the center (1 3/4 inches long). Ptolemaic Period, 300-32 B.C. From an old Belgian collection. Mounted and framed behind glass. Photos with drawings are provided to help show the details. | ||
