| A large shabti figure for the priest, Padibastet, son of the scribe of the god’s sealers and priest Ramose, depicted mummiform, wearing a tripartite wig, with long lappets, false beard, arms crossed and hands emerging from tightly fitted garment, hands grasping hoes, seedsack suspended over shoulder and with seven lines of hieroglyphic text. Late Period, 600-400 B.C. 7 3/4 inches high. Intact. From an old European collection. | ||
