AN EGYPTIAN FAIENCE SHABTI FOR OUDJA-HOR
Depicted mummiform, with pleasant facial expression, wearing a tripartite wig and false beard, arms crossed with hands emerging and holding hoes, seedsack suspensed over his left shoulder. With eight lines of horizontal hieroglyphic text and a vertical line on the back pillar identifying Oudja-Hor as the owner. 26th Dynasty, @ 600 B.C. Four inches high.Nose chipped and repaired on the ankles. Ex. French collection of Jean Lecannellier, Blainville, France, collected between 1960-1980.
