AN ANCIENT GREEK TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF A LADY
With serene facial expression, standing on an integral base, wearing a full, long, flowing garment covering her entire body, her left arm bent at the elbow, right arm straigt down with right hand grasping the garment, her weight resting on her left leg, right leg slightly bent at the knee. Hellenistic Period, 3rd/4th Century B.C. 9 inches high. Minor repair and tip of left shoulder restored. Extensive remains of white slip. From an old New Jersey private collection.
