| Roman marble torso of an Eros or a youthful Silvanus. The pudgy young male stands with his slightly raised right arm held out to his side, wearing some drapery over his left shoulder and chest, well-defined left hand grasping the drapery, drapery holding fruit, possibly pomegranites and with exposed male genitalia. Back left rough. Possibly from a relief or sarcophagus. 2nd/3rd Century. 8 inches high. Mounted. Ex. California private collection. | ||
