This gorgeous, glistening Hagler set has everything: tiny iridescent blue and pearl colored glass beads, huge royal blue crystals, clear rhinestones and faceted iridescent crystals. The overall effect is sparkling and stunning! The necklace has a double level gilt filigree backing with the Hagler oval name plate on the pendant. The pendant and one earring are marked Stanley Hagler NYC. The necklace is 18 1/2" end to end. Pendant is 2 1/2" in diameter. Earrings are 1 1/4" square.

A most elegant unsigned piece. The translucent glass stones shimmer in a rich red color. The stones are very interesting since the front side of the large square stones are beveled, while the under side of those stones are dome shaped with a carved checkerboard pattern. This makes all the more shimmer when the piece moves. The age of the necklace is hard to determine, probably mid 1900's, possibly the 1940's.
