| Elizabeth O'Neill Verner South Carolina (1883-1979) Widely recognized as the matriarch of the charleston renaissance this listed artist is widely collected. In 1923, she took up etching and, two years later, established her own studio. Verner was a frequent exhibitor, and her work was acquired by such notable institutions as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and others. This image is "Old Rectory Charleston" and measures 5" x 3-3/4" for image. This is fresh from an artist estate and is not framed. This dates from the mid 1920's to 1930. | ||||||||||
