This stunning three colored compote was produced by Rindskoff, recognized leader in quality Art Nouveau Bohemian Art Glass. It is 8" high, with three colors of deep rose, green and gold. The surface of the compote is a dimpled, textured frosted glass. The bowl of the compote is shaped like a rose bowl, with the base having the more conventional bohemian feel. Loetz, Tiffany and Quezal are the unquestioned leaders in art glass shades. Loetz has perhaps the most unusual, such as this cased blue iridescent cut to gold iridescent glass, over opal glass. The blue is in a zig zag or herringbone pattern, which is both striking and most unusual. The shade is 5 1/2" high, with a 2 1/4" rim for the fitter and a 4" opening at the base.
