In a lovely purple blue named after the flowering vine, Wisteria found at Louis C. Tiffany's home Laurelton Hall, Tiffany Studios has created a wonderful wine glass as a tribute to flowers. Louis C. Tiffany and Tiffany Studios create a floral tribute in this fragile water goblet. The stem, base and outside glass are pure white in a radiating pattern like the outside petals of a flower. In alternating "bands" on the inside glass is a bluish purple, which is the color of the flowering vines, Wisteria. The white art glass base of this uniquely shaped Quezal Shade has highlights which are a rainbow of colors. To create a ribbed effect, there are subtle lines of a slightly deeper iridescent tone in the glass. The applied gold zipper design of the 4.5" shade is in pristine condition as is the entire shade. Turtleback Favrile tiles are a signature element of Louis C. Tiffany's murals, fireplace mantels and Tiffany Studios lamps. This is an extremely large Tiffany Favrile Turtleback Tile in shades of green, ranging for a light lime, to a deep moss green with patches of Forest green, almost black. The tile is in perfect condition, as if it had never been used. It is 5.5" by 4.25". The surface varies in height, but at the highest point, it is 1".
This Tiffany Studios cabinet vase has a moss green pulled feather decoration, ending in a hook, with a iridescent gold border. The gold border has very strong blue highlights. The design is applied over a pure cream base. Note the graceful shape of the 3" high vase. The widest point is 3.5" across. On its base is engraved: "Y849 L.C.T." The vase is in excellent condition.
The design of this Tiffany Studios Bronze lamp is unique in several ways. Tiffany's favorite floral motif is observed in the way the 14.5" high lamp's harp appears to be graceful, entwining limbs of a tree and the lovely brown/green patina. So as not to interfere with the design, the lamp is turned on by twisting the finial at the very top of the lamp. For the Collector, this is a L.C.Tiffany Studios Favrile white calcite shade with an unusually broad King Tut Golden Swirl design. The gold swirl on this bell shaped shade has heavy magenta highlights. The shade is 5.25" high with a 2.25" opening for the fitter. It is properly signed on the rim for the fitter "L.C.T.". Following the tradition of Tiffany, Quezal and other masters in the Art Nouveau art glass business, Lundberg Studios of California creates the finest in contemporary art glass pieces. This 5.5" purple pulled feather perfume bottle was made in 1980. It is signed "Lundberg Studios" with the date of production. In perfect condition, and apparently never used.
Louis C. Tiffany designed for elegant entertaining a line of beautiful plates and stemware. This 4.75" high gold Favrile goblet with a mirrored finish, decorated with a floral pulled feather design, is an example of his finest in stemware. Note the internal design within the graceful stem. The bowl of the goblet is 3.5" in circumference. It is in excellent condition.
This is a tall, light green Opalescent Favrile Glass Floriform by Louis Comfort Tiffany on a long stem. The stem has alternating green and opal glass rods to provide even more of a realistic effect. The flower is mounted in a bronze base with a crimped holder. Note the pure yellow, gold and blue dramatic accents to the green pulled feather design in the the flower's bowl, highlighted by its graceful, ruffled, stretch glass edge.
