| Many authors have suggested that some of the same designers and gaffers moved between Tiffany Studios and Quezal, under the leadership of Martin Bach, Sr. Certainly Quezal's designer, Martin Bach, Jr. was good friends with several of Tiffany's employees. This golden Favrile cylindrical vase is offered as evidence of that theory. The gold iridescent zipper design is rare for Tiffany pieces, but was used extensively by Quezal. The over all color of the vase is a deep golden yellow, which slowly graduates into opal at the neck of the piece. It is 5 3/4" and is signed "G1786 L.C.T." The design and the suffix suggest that production of the vase occurred prior to 1910 when Martin Bach, Jr. was the chief designer for Quezal, but close friends with Tiffany influential designers and gaffer. It is in excellent condition and only for those who like the unique and beautiful in Tiffany. | ||||||
