| The design of this Tiffany Studios Bronze lamp is unique in several ways. Tiffany's favorite floral motif is observed in the way the 14.5" high lamp's harp appears to be graceful, entwining limbs of a tree and the lovely brown/green patina. So as not to interfere with the design, the lamp is turned on by twisting the finial at the very top of the lamp. Rather than one color with highlights, the 7" Damascene shade has "rings" of the color of Spring flowers. The highlights are strong, and depending on the light source, are, beginning at the top of the shade: light magenta; green; then a clear sky blue; under which there is again light magenta; golden marigold yellow; mint green; and, finally at the very bottom, a thin circle of cobalt blue. To complement the colors, the interior is white. The 5.25" wide lamp base is stamped "Tiffany Studios New York"; and the shade is engraved: "L.C.Tiffany Favrile". | ||||||||||
