Original Japanese woodblock print in the form of a triptych by Kunimasa IV, also known as Kokunimasa (1848-1920), titled "A View of the Niuchang Battle", 1896. This triptych has very fresh colors, with black lacquer highlights. It measures approximately 14 x 27 3/4 inches, fully assembled. The left and center sheets are attached, the right sheet is loose, and there is paper residue along reverse edges. The number "32" was stamped in the top right corner of the right sheet by the original collector who put together the album that contained this print.

Original Japanese woodblock print by Osaka School master Konishi Hirosada (fl. 1820-1860). This print measures 8 1/2 x 6 inches, plus margins. It has the deluxe feature of a black lacquered robe. It is in very good condition, aside from a small stain near lower left corner. It has a typical album backing.

It is in very good condition, aside from a rubbed area near the lower left corner, and a small spot near the actor's ear. It has a typical album backing.

This print is a first state, as evidenced by the tri-color title cartouche. The image measures 13 1/4 x 9 inches, plus margins. This print is in very good condition, with only a quarter inch long sliver printing void in background and light creasing in the top margin to note.

This print is a first state, as evidenced by the tri-color title cartouche. The image measures 13 1/4 x 9 inches, plus margins. This print is in very good condition, with embossing in the jacket. The only condition issues to note are a pink stain in the left margin, a faint transfer stain in the right margin, and slight soiling in the jacket.
