Original Japanese woodblock print by Osaka School master Konishi Hirosada (fl. 1820-1860). This print measures 8 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches, plus margins. It has the deluxe printing features of lacquer overprinting in the hat and metallics in the garment, and no condition issues to note. There is a typical album backing.

This print is a first state, as evidenced by the tri-color title cartouche. The image measures 13 1/4 x 9 inches, plus margins. This print is in very good condition, with
only a quarter inch long sliver printing void in background and light creasing in the top margin to note.

Original Japanese woodblock print by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), titled "Grass Grows Through Ono's Skull", c. 1890, from the 36 Ghost Series. This print is a first state, as evidenced by the tri-color title cartouche. The image measures 13 1/4 x 9 inches, plus margins. This print is in very good condition, with embossing in the jacket. The only condition issues to note are a pink stain in the left margin, a faint transfer stain in the right margin, and slight soiling in the jacket.

This print is in very good condition, although there is light creasing, including across the bottom margin and thin spots at the top reverse corners from removal of a prior mount.
