Original Japanese woodblock print by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), titled "Grass Grows Through Ono's Skull", c. 1890, from the 36 Ghost Series. This print is a first state, as evidenced by the tri-color title cartouche. The image measures 13 1/4 x 9 inches, plus margins. This print is in very good condition, with embossing in the jacket. The only condition issues to note are a pink stain in the left margin, a faint transfer stain in the right margin, and slight soiling in the jacket.

This print is in very good condition, with oxidized pigments in the jacket. The only condition issue to note is a faint transfer stain in the bottom right margin.

Pencil signed Japanese woodblock print by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997), titled "Profile", 1/60, 1948. The image measures 20 1/4 x 15 1/4 inches, plus full margins. This print is in very good condition, although there is light creasing, including across the bottom margin and thin spots at the top reverse corners from removal of a prior mount.

Original pencil signed Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957), titled "Hakuyo Temple. Sokei Tower", 1939. It depicts a scene in Korea. This design is illustrated at plate 441 of the Hasui catalogue raisonne by Narazki. The print was published by Watanabe Color Print Co.
The image measures 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches. The colors are very fresh. The condition is also very good, with only a pinhole in the top left corner to note.

The image measures 9 7/8 x 14 5/8 inches. The colors are very fresh. The condition is also very good, with only 2 printing creases in right margin and light toning on reverse bottom margin.
