“Kawase Hasui: The Complete Woodblock Prints”, by Kendall H. Brown, edited by Amy Reigle Newland, with an essay by Shoichiro Watanabe. This set is the first comprehensive study of Hasui's life and work in English. The book contains 670 color illustrations, and 100 black and white illustrations, including pieces never reproduced before (including images submitted by Floating World Gallery). Domestic shipping is an additional $12 for US Mail Media Rate or $26 for Priority Mail (insured in both cases). The last Hasui catalogue, “Kawase Hasui Mokuhangashu “ (commonly known as the Narazaki Catalog) sold out quickly and when available, sells for a substantial premium over the original list price.
