Original Japanese watercolor by Fujio Yoshida (1897-1990) titled depicting flowering bushes. It is signed and dated 1902 in the lower left corner. Fujio Yoshida was the wife of Hiroshi Yoshida, and the mother of Toshi and Hodaka Yoshida, and a gifted artist in her own right.
This piece is in very good condition, with no condition issues to note, aside from some faint soiling on the reverse. The image measures 12 5/8 by 19 ½ inches, plus margins.

This print is in very good condition, with no condition issues to note, aside from some light toning on the front margins and moderate toning on the reverse. The image measures 15 1/2 by 11 ¾ inches, plus full margins. This design is illustrated at plate 5 of “The Prints of Paul Jacoulet” by Richard Miles, 1982.
