Original, first state Japanese woodblock print by Taiso Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), 1890, titled Gamo Sadahide's Servant, Toki Motosada, Hurling a Demon King to the Ground at Mount Inohana", from the Thirty-six Ghosts Series. Original, first state Japanese woodblock print by Taiso Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), 1889, titled " Onikawa Observing the Great Carp in the Pool", from the Thirty-six Ghosts Series. This is the only design in the series in which the first state has a two color cartouche; however, the first state designs have crossing wave lines beneath where the two rocks meet (in later impressions, the lines do not cross).

Original Japanese woodblock print by Nishimura Hodo (fl. 1930s), titled “Camellia”. The print measures approximately 14 3/8 x 9 1/2 inches, plus margins. There is some thinning at the right reverse corner, a pinhole, some printing smudges and faint foxing, and a faint pencil mark near the top right margin.
