Original Japanese woodblock print Taiso Yoshitoshi (1797-1858), titled “August: Somezono Watching Moon over Shinagawa Harbor”, 1880. This design is plate 8 in the series Pride of Tokyo's Twelve Months, which was published by Inoue and carved by Katata Hori Cho. The image measures approximately 14 3/8 by 9 1/2 inches. The colors are very fresh, as the print comes from an album. There is minor soiling on the front margins and on the reverse.
