Original pencil signed Japanese woodblock print by Charles W. Bartlett (1860-1940), titled "The Hour of Prayer - India", 1925. This design is illustrated at plate 24 of the new Bartlett catalogue raisonne by Richard Miles. The Publisher is The Watanabe Color Print Co. The image measures 9 7/8 x 14 5/8 inches. The colors are very fresh. The condition is also very good, with only 2 printing creases in right margin and light toning on reverse bottom margin. |
