Original pencil signed Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957), titled "Hakuyo Temple. Sokei Tower", 1939. It depicts a scene in Korea. This design is illustrated at plate 441 of the Hasui catalogue raisonne by Narazki. The print was published by Watanabe Color Print Co. The image measures 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches. The colors are very fresh. The condition is also very good, with only a pinhole in the top left corner to note. |
