Sino-Japanese War Triptych by Kokunimasa
Original Japanese woodblock print in the form of a triptych by Kunimasa IV, also known as Kokunimasa (1848-1920), titled "Occupation of Yeijo Castle by the Japanese under the Leadership of General Sakuma", 1896. This triptych has very fresh colors, with black lacquer highlights. It measures approximately 14 x 27 3/4 inches, fully assembled. There is paper residue along reverse edges. The number "26" was stamped to the left of the title cartouche by the original collector who put together the album that contained this print.
