Offered for sale is a wonderful Japanese woodblock print by Elizabeth Keith (1887-1956), titled Wedding Guest, Soul. The title is
printed in the bottom left corner of the image, and the artist's EK seal and the date, 1919, appear in the bottom right corner. This print
is illustrated at pl. 66 of Elizabeth Keith: The Printed Works, by Richard Miles.
Note that this print has different colors than the design illustrated in the Miles catalogue, and those differences cannot be attributed to fading. Also, the Miles catalogue dates this print as
1936. This print is has wonderfully fresh colors and is in very good condition, with nice baren work in the garment. The image measures approximately 12 ¼ by 9 ½ inches, plus margins.
