Original Japanese woodblock print by Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949), titled "Zozoji Temple", c. 1930s. This print was acquired as part of a folio of sample X-mas cards distributed by the publisher Doi Hangaten. Images of the folio cover and table of contents appear below, but these are not being offered for sale. The print is in very good condition, although there is some residue on the reverse corners, and wrinkling in the paper. The image measures approximately 5 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches, plus full margins. |
