Original 20th century Japanese woodblock print by Negoro Raizan (1887-?), titled "Thunderstorm at Enzan, Shiba, Tokyo", 1922 (thus a pre-earthquake design). It is illustrated at pl. 203 of "The New Wave: Twentieth Century Prints from the Robert O. Muller Collection". The print is in very good condition, with no condition problems to note. It is mounted in its original folder. The dimensions are approximately 14 3/8 by 9 3/8 inches. Like other prints by this artist, it is fully printed to the edge. |
