Japanese woodblock print by Elizabeth Keith (1887-1956), titled Lama Temple, Peking, 1922. The image measures 9 3/8 x 14 1/4 inches, plus margins. No condition problems to note. The design is illustrated in “Elizabeth Keith: The Printed Works”, by Richard Miles. According to Miles, the blocks for this print were destroyed in the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923. |
