Japanese woodblock print by Elizabeth Keith (1887-1956), titled Night Scene, Malacca, 1924. The image measures 14 7/8 x 9 3/4 inches, plus margins. Very good condition, except for paper residue on top front corners and all reverse corners. The design is illustrated at plate 89 in “Elizabeth Keith: The Printed Works”, by Richard Miles. According to Miles, this design is from an editon of 100, with only 30 completed. |
