Japanese woodblock print by Elizabeth Keith (1887-1956), titled The Old House, Malacca, 1925. The image measures 14 7/8 x 9 7/8 inches, plus margins. Slightly faded, paper tape on top reverse corners and lightly rubbed on reverse. The design is illustrated at plate 89 in “Elizabeth Keith: The Printed Works”, by Richard Miles. According to Miles, this design is from an edition of 100, with fewer than 20 known. |
