Original Japanese woodblock print by Ohara Koson (1877-1945), titled Two Mallards in Flight. Although undated, it is circa 1910. The design was published by Nishinomiya Yosaku and is is illustrated at plate K7.8 in Cranes, Crows and Camellias: The Natural World of Ohara Koson. The image measures 13 ½ by 7 ½ inches, plus full margins. Excellent condition, except the tip of top left margin corner is missing. |
