Original Japanese woodblock print by Ando Hiroshige (1797-1858), titled "Mt. Hiyori and Toba Bay in Shima Province", 1853. This design is the eighth plate from the series "Pictures of Famous Places in the Sixty Odd Provinces”, published by Koshimuraya Heisuke. The image measures approximately 13 1/2 x 9 inches, plus margins. It is in very good condition, with wonderfully fresh colors, although there is some slight rubbing in the bottom margin.
