| Original Japanese woodblock print diptych by Osaka School master, Konishi Hirosada (fl.1820 - 60), depicting bust portraits of two actors. The images measure approximately 8 5/8 x 13 1/4 inches , including the margin between the two designs. The colors on the print are quite fresh and there are embossed, lacquer and mica highlights. Overall the print is in very good condition, although the two sheets are attached, and like most chuban format Osaka pieces, it is from an album, and has a typical album backing. | ||||||
