This is a whimsical Hirado porcelain candlestick holder formed as a karako
(Chinese boy) with bisque eyes, supporting a tall column with one hand.
A three-toed dragon in high relief coils along the top of the column,
raising its sharp claws high. This Hirado piece is finely executed in white and pale
