A fine Satsuma tea caddy of cylindrical form on pedestal base. Its lid features gilt Tokugawa mon and includes the rare to find inner lid. Along the neck and shoulders, fan-shaped cartouches are detailed in gosu blue and gilt with multiple stylized patterns, its open-fan motif continuing across the body with large fan cartouches on a scrolling gosu blue ground. Beautiful scenes of abundant flowers and streams in gilt, iron red and gosu are displayed on each fan cartouche.

This is a charming Satsuma earthenware kogo of circular form with an
amusing scene on its lid. Each of the many figures designed on the lid
is engaged in a passionate dance with hands, feet and fans in the air.

A large and major studio pottery vase of ovoid form, its base ornately
rendered with textile-patterned lappets in gilt, gosu, iron red and
green enamels.
On the splendid brown-glazed ground, lush white sakura grow
asymmetrically across its surface in delicate clusters. Each petal is

This is a beautifully formed, four-lobed Satsuma koro with a silver and
sentoku lid carved overall with kiku in relief on a textured ground. The
earthenware body is composed of four pronounced lobes gently tapering to
form its four elegant legs. On each lobe, cartouches depict fanciful

This elegant Satsuma ewer with exquisite brocading and handle and spout
formed as bamboo is enameled with a continuous scene of the
popular Japanese art theme, "Three Friends of Winter". Designed
asymmetrically in multi-colored enamels with spiraling gosu blue
streams, bamboo and salmon-hued and white -enamel
kiku in relief bloom along a gnarled plum blossom tree.
