An exquisite ikebana basket of bottle-form constructed of honey-colored bamboo strands woven with dense mat plaiting. Thin strands of bamboo rise from the kiku-woven base, bending miraculously at the shoulders and twining along the collar and throughout the full body. Embellished with large bundled bamboo knots, the basket's body is woven in alternating twining and herring- bone plaiting with rich mat- plaiting along the neck.
