A pair of fine glass and silver decanters of conical form with pierced silver stylized bamboo stalks and leaves embracing its surface. The silver stoppers capture the art deco-inspired conical shape of the vessels. The bases and stoppers are marked "Sterling 950." ( Japanese silver is 950 in silver content, higher than the British sterling.) These decanters are in excellent condition with no dents or damage.

A wood okimono of a standing Daruma, his bare feet parted and body slightly twisted as his robe whips about him. Daruma holds an ivory whisk in his left hand, the carving detailing his earrings, eyelids, and the serene expression capturing some moment during the beginning of his nine-year meditative state. Along his back is the carved signature of Megoro Sokyo. This okimono is in very good condition with no damage or restoration.

A delightful Satsuma vase of moon shape on pedestal base with monkeys frolicking mid blossoming sakura. On the reverse, an elder trudges up a mountain toward a refuge, villagers conversing nearby. A delicate brocade of pink and white moriage sakura buds on a black ground with gilt details decorates the neck and base, the two scenes executed in beautiful colored enamels. This vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.

This dramatic Hirado porcelain vase of gu-shape is bi-sected by a white-enameled central band bordered by lappets along the rim and base.
Two powerfully sculptured serpentine dragons, each scale
naturalistically carved, frame the sides of the vase. On its body, underglaze blue peony vines and foliage, together with dimensional trellis work interspersed with
elegant birds on lotus, create a brilliant tapestry of blue and white.

A magnificent studio porcelain vase of trumpet form.
On its surface, pine trees rise and spread out from its white enameled
base
to the flared rim, gently gradating in color. Saturated cobalt enamels
defining
the trees in the foreground create visual impact as the trees in the
background
softly fade away. Makuzu Kozan signature cartouche on the base. This vase
is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
