| This round Imari plate with scalloped edge has a partially fluted body decorated in typical Imari palette with an underglaze blue, textile-brocaded rim. Foliate-shaped cartouches depict songbirds flying over peony and blossoming sakura trees. Rondels of stylized butterflies against emerald-green ground enhance the surface of the plate.
