| A six-sided ikebana basket of unusual form woven entirely with open-work hexagonal plaiting. The lacquered bamboo strands are incredibly thin and delicate. Insect stitching keeps the rim and base securely in place. Executed by the renowned bamboo master Chikuunsai II, his incised signature found on the base. This basket is excellent condition.
