| A Satsuma plate decorated with a magnificent scene of a Matsuri (festival), rendering in greatest detail myriads of figures engaged in the festival's excitement. Each figure is carefully detailed and life-like - part of a design rich in concept and movement. The plate's asymmetrical border richly adorned with gilt, completes the scene. Hankinzan gilt signature plaque on reverse. This fine Satsuma plate by one of the ceramic masters of the period is in excellent condition with no damage and no restoration.
