| A complete kiseru zutsu set with bamboo pipe case richly woven in herring bone pattern and adorned with dancing figures of Daikoku and Ebisu, their ivory faces highlit by lacquered costumes and attributes-in-hand. The pipe is of heavy silver and gold deeply carved with prancing tiger and dragon amid clouds, its ojime of green malachite.The silk pouch is richly embroidered with floral motif in dark green and blue threads and its bronze, gilt and shakudo kanemono designed as a Hannya Noh mask. Shakudo Tama aki signature plaque present on pipe case. This kiseru zutsu is in excellent condition for its age. Meiji Period, Japan | ||||||||
