| This is a large, splendid studio porcelain vase of ovoid form with lappets along the rim and foot in underglaze blue. On its lustrous white-enameled ground, lovely butterflies and bees flit around sprays of mauve peonies, blue iris and leaves, abundant overall. This fabulous vase is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. Hoshiaki signature can be found on the base. Height: 19" Circa 1910 (Late Meiji Period), Japan | |||||||||
