| A rare studio porcelain and metalwork vase of fluid form designed at the rim and foot with lotus petals executed in silver. On its rich celadon ground, large mauve lotus blooms sway in the wind, their whitish, partly eaten petals falling from their stems. Exquisitely etched silver lotus and leaves rise from the base, creating a three-dimensional aspect to this poetic and unusual vase. Underglaze blue Shofu Kajo signature on the base. Height, 10.5".
