We sell quality Estate items. From time to time the items are from a foreign source.
We are from the US and our language capabilities outside our mother tongue are limited.
We work in concert with a few translators to help us discover such information as who an artist of a certain piece might be and any pertinent history of the piece given.
For instance a Tokkuri bottle from Japan with writing on it’s side as well as on it’s original box.
These translators do their best to give us accurate readings of other people’s handwritings and incised marks.
Please note that while they strive to give exact information, inaccuracy is a possibility given the difficulty of the task.
