| 19th Century Chinese Teak Altar Style End Tables & Nesting Stools- Precision craftsmanship. A beautiful pair of Teakwood End Tables with stools that store perfectly inside and under them. Each table has a shelf and a drawer with original hardware that appears to be brass with a nice patina. These pieces have all wood joinery with sleek carving on the stools. The side of the units have an altar style to them. The unit is made form Teakwood famous for its lasting hard wood qualities and its natural resistant to the attack of pests. Completely functional, storage saving and gorgeous, these tables and stools would compliment most any home. They have been in the same family estate of world travelers since the mid 40s. Finish has some crazing. Age is evident. Otherwise pieces are in extremely fine condition. A new finish and these would fast become a compelling focal point in your decor.
