VICTORIAN PORCELAIN PORTRAIT MINIATURE BROOCH. Circa 1890s. A small oval porcelain portrait miniature brooch with brass back. The brooch features a head and shoulders portrait of a woman facing right and surrounded by a border of tiny turquoise porcelain "jewels" against a gilt background. Hinged pin and C clasp on reverse. The brooch measures 1 inch by 3/4 inch. There are no cracks or chips.

The Bee's body is a polished half round rose gold ball with a head that is set with two ruby stones and a 4.80mm round pearl as a tail. The wings are 14K white gold bead and prong set with a total of ten diamonds - four single cut 1.30mm diamonds and six 1.50mm round full cut diamonds. The back is fitted with a glass hair compartment (empty). A FINE 14K GOLD AND FLORENTINE PIETRA DURA MOSAIC PENDANT. Circa 1870. Not marked but tested. The 14K yellow gold ITALIAN REVIVALIST pendant is formed as a shield suspended from a hinged trefoil section with wire bail. The shield's framework features filigree and fine granulation work and is centered with an oval floral PIETRA DURA plaque. The overall measurement is 1 3/8 inches by 5/8 inches. In excellent condition.

A VICTORIAN BOG OAK AND FRENCH JET MOURNING BROOCH. Circa 1865. The brooch is formed of carved BOG OAK (a fossilised wood found in Ireland) and is accented with FIVE FRENCH JET FACETED BEADS. The slightly curved bog oak base features a design of OAK LEAVES and is topped by beads, possibly representing acorns, which graduate in size from approximately 5mm to 8mm. Hinged straight pin on the back with a C clasp. In very good condition.

A VICTORIAN GOLD FILLED AND BLUE ENAMEL BAR PIN. Circa 1890. The hinged straight pin with C clasp is a probable replacement. The bar pin has a circular center with trefoil designs at each end. The brooch features blue enamel in a floral and modified fleur de lis design. There is some loss to the enamel (please see enlargements). The name "May" is engraved on the back. The brooch measures 1 1/4 inches in length by 3/8 inches in width.

A GEORGIAN PERIOD 14K GOLD, PEARL and ROSE-CUT DIAMOND PENDANT. Circa 1815. The pendant is dome-shaped and is centrally set with a half-pearl. The pearl is surrounded by eight rose-cut diamonds. Scalloped outer border. Eight of the scallops end with a small gold ball that originally had black enameling. Several of the small balls show enamel loss.
